Dr. Alycia Green Joins Total Eye Care
KELLER, TX, 4/21/2008 —
We are pleased to announce that
Dr. Alycia N.
Greenreen has joined our practice. With the addition
of Dr. Green we have expanded the hours at our Keller office. We
will now offer appointments Monday through Friday at both the
Colleyville and Keller offices and Saturday visits are available, by
appointment, in Colleyville. We also have late appointments
available at both locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays. "We are very
excited that Dr. Green has joined our team and look forward to being
able to provide more convenient hours to our patients" says
Dr. Rich Driscoll.
Education & Awards
Dr. Green is a
Therapeutic Optometrist receiving her Doctorate of Optometry
from The University of Houston College of Optometry in 1999 where
twice she was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award in Family
Practice. Dr. Green also received the Clinical Excellence Award in
Pediatrics. Dr. Green continued her training with a Low Vision
Rehabilitation and Geriatric Ocular Pathology Externship at the
Veterans Administration Hospital in Palo, Alto California. She also
completed an externship at the Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi
Mississippi in Primary Care and Ocular Pathology.
Dr. Green was elected Student Body President of the University Of
Houston College Of Optometry in 1997 and served on the National
Leadership Council the same year.
Clinical Interests
The training Dr. Green has received gives her a broad background
in all aspects of eye care, however Dr. Green especially enjoys
seeing kids of all ages and providing complicated contact lens fits
such as for patients with
keratoconus.
Career
Dr. Green started her professional career as an optometrist
practicing in Arkansas at the Vision Care Center where she was the
Director of the Low Vision Clinic and the
Laser Vision Coordinator.
She came to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in 2001.
